10-Day Kerala & Tamil Nadu Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Destination – Cochin – Local Sightseeing (100 Kms)

Welcome to God's own Country. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Cochin Airport and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in Kochi. Freshen up and proceed for local sightseeing including Fort Cochin, Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Jew’s Street, and Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Cochin Beach. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Destination – Kochi to Munnar (150 Kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Munnar. En route, visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. On arrival, check in to the hotel, relax, and enjoy nature walks. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Destination – Munnar Local Sightseeing (100 Kms)

After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty & Kundala Dam (boating), Echo Point, Shooting Point, and Tea Museum. Enjoy shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 4: Destination – Munnar to Thekkady (130 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady. Check in to the hotel and relax. Later visit Periyar National Park and enjoy a wildlife cruise on Periyar Lake. Optional activities include spice plantation tour, bamboo rafting, jungle trekking, and elephant rides. Visit the local spice market. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5: Destination – Thekkady – Madurai – Rameswaram (320 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Madurai to visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple. Later proceed to Rameswaram, located on Pamban Island, one of the holiest Hindu shrines. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.

Day 6: Destination – Rameswaram – Dhanushkodi (60 Kms)

After breakfast, visit Dhanushkodi, an abandoned town destroyed in the 1964 cyclone. Explore the ruins and beaches. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.

Day 7: Destination – Rameswaram to Kanyakumari (330 Kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari Beach, Sunset/Sunrise Point, and Gandhi Memorial. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 8: Destination – Kanyakumari to Kovalam (100 Kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam. Visit Trivandrum city attractions like Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Poovar Island, Kuthiramalika Palace, Napier Museum, and Zoo. Return to hotel for overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 9: Destination – Kovalam to Alleppey (180 Kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Check into a traditional Kerala houseboat for a day cruise. Enjoy welcome drink, lunch, tea snacks, and dinner onboard while cruising through scenic backwaters. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 10: Destination – Alleppey to Cochin Drop (80 Kms)

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Transfer to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your return journey. Tour ends with beautiful memories of Kerala & Tamil Nadu!
