Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Cochin – Athirappilly – Nileswaram

Welcome to God's Own Country. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Kochi Railway Station and proceed to Athirappilly Falls, situated in Athirappilly Panchayat in Chalakudy Taluk of Thrissur District, Kerala. Located on the Chalakudy River, which originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges, Athirappilly is the largest waterfall in Kerala, standing tall at 80 feet. After visiting the falls, proceed to Nileswaram and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (150 Kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Munnar – the gateway to the hills in South India. This charming town is known for its photo-book landscapes, misty rolling hills, expansive tea gardens, and wildlife sanctuaries. Enroute, witness the scenic Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Munnar: visit Eravikulam National Park to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, followed by visits to Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam (boating optional), and Echo Point. Continue to Shooting Point and the Tea Museum. End the day with shopping in the local market. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (130 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a nature lover's paradise known for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. Check into your hotel and later visit Periyar National Park. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake to spot wildlife, and optionally join activities like spice plantation tours, bamboo rafting, jungle trekking, or elephant rides. Visit the spice market in the evening. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey (160 Kms)

After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Check into your houseboat—an elegantly crafted vessel equipped with a bedroom, attached bath, kitchen, dining area, and a deck. Cruise through palm-fringed canals, observe village life, and enjoy the serenity of the backwaters. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey – Kovalam (170 Kms)

After breakfast, head to Kovalam, Kerala’s iconic beach destination. Check into your hotel and explore Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Leela Beach. Enjoy fresh seafood at the local restaurants. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam – Kanyakumari (90 Kms)

Travel to Kanyakumari—the southernmost tip of India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet. It is a renowned pilgrimage site with spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Return to Kovalam for overnight stay.

Day 8: Trivandrum Departure

After breakfast, proceed to explore Trivandrum city: visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace, Napier Museum, and the Zoo. Later, transfer to Trivandrum or Kochi for your return journey with fond memories of God’s Own Country.
